How to tackle demoralizations while pursuing your ECAs

Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, and assassin.
This is the war of the future.

We've already come up with an explanation of what ECA is and why it's important, but pursuing an ECA in our country isn't straightforward. Individuals must overcome a variety of challenges in order to expand their extracurricular activities and provide them with a more complete picture. Because plenty of parents have an idea that pursuing an ECA is nothing but a waste of time, the majority of kids have lost interest.

Furthermore, pupils are subjected to a variety of mental, social, and familial pressures due to spending time over ECAs. Most of the students start working on their ECAs from their teens. But, as we all know, adolescence is a tumultuous time in a person's life during which many students go astray. When it is discovered that they have migrated a long distance away from their ECA, stress starts generating in them.

Again many unprivileged students find that they do not have the necessary materials or resources for pursuing their desired ECA which creates an extremely negative impact on students. But, as previously stated, it is common for students to begin doing their ECA in their teens, which is why there is a level of extra demoralization in them that is natural, so here are some ways to tackle these things adequately.

Being discouraged by others:

There will always be a group of people who will try to discourage you from doing something good. They will make it easier for you to see the negative aspects of the situation, but if you do not believe in and carry out your work, a broad light will remain dark for you.

Discouragement from others should not be taken into account if someone is adamant about pursuing your dreams. First and foremost, you must understand why you are performing the ECA and how it will benefit you in the long run. You could then easily deal with the demoralization, and you could also help the discouragers by clarifying their negative viewpoints.

Being a laughing stock:

Some students are bullied these days for participating in productive work, which is unfortunate but true. At the end of the day, some of their friends make fun of them, which causes the enthusiasts to become demotivated and demoralized. Students should keep the proper company when dealing with such situations; it is preferable to leave friends who demoralize you. Rather than try out hanging out with students who share your interests.

Familial pressures:

It is undeniable that our families are always concerned about our well-being. However, being discouraged by them while pursuing your ECAs can be demoralizing. However, we must recognize that some of them are unable to think outside the confines of academia. Academics play a significant role. It is also important to remember that you cannot pursue your ECAs at the expense of your academics. And if you can strike a perfect balance between the two, that's even better. Then familial pressure will be reduced surely.

Lack of resources:

When a seeker of knowledge does not receive the treasures of knowledge one requires, one becomes frail on the inside. The desire to learn new things is insatiable. As a developing country, not all students have access to the resources they desire. Consider someone who wants to learn to code but cannot afford to purchase the necessary hardware. It causes an internal mental breakdown that must be addressed. However, in this case, the goal is to do the best you can. We know from history that many successful people started from nothing. Using what you have effectively and persevering may one day result in a victory.

Fear of fierce competition:

Every extracurricular activity is highly regarded on the international stage, and there are numerous competitions of this nature. Lacks aspirants there to just starting any ECA from love then going so far as to stand in an international or national battle. And when they see a lot more experts there, some people start thinking of them as a face in the crowd. This fear causes because comparing themselves with others. But it won’t be even an issue to stress if each one starts developing themselves from where they are and it must be emphasized that it is never too late to begin. Enhancing your abilities, focusing on your own growth, and comparing your growth to your own will pay off in the long run. As a result, dealing with demoralizations will be simple.

Overworking pressure:

Some individuals find it hard to balance both academics and ECAs. Mostly those who are engaged in various ECAs.We squander a lot of time without even realizing it, which leads us to believe that we work so hard that we don't get enough leisure time. But the truth is that if we only organize our daily schedules properly, we'll realize that we've wasted a lot of time. Getting up early and getting a good start to the day provides us with a lot of energy and relieves a lot of pressures.

At the end of this article, we would like to say that, sometimes things might be difficult or painful. But we all know that " time and tide wait for none". You all have to move on and pursue our ECA's. If you believe in yourself, no one can beat you and you will surely achieve success.
